Carolyn Haywood and Nicole Vatour have combined forces to draw from a broad range of experience including a Diploma in Multimedia Programming and one in Web Development, in addition to years of self taught skills vital to the industry, to ensure each project gets the attention it needs in different areas such as XHTML, CSS, CMS, design and layout.
Carolyn Haywood, founder of Bulkley River Web Design, was born and raised in the Bulkley Valley. Her extensive international travels have given her a wide perspective and excellent communication skills. She has many years experience in customer service, management and marketing. Carolyn works with such programs as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, and Acrobat, among others.
Nicole Vautour, associate, has experience successfully managing and enhancing the Web and print presence of several high-profile organizations while defining, establishing and maintaining brand standards. Her most recent relevant accomplishment includes acting as project lead for the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s total website redesign project. This successfully completed project went on to win a gold website award from the Council of Foundations in 2008. Nicole has also worked extensively with the Toronto Board of Trade, Ontario Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and Durham College Continuous Learning Division.
